The Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club is owned by the Rancho Santa Fe Association.
If you own property in the Covenant you are automatically a member of the Rancho Santa Fe Association and therefore entitled to membership in the Golf Club! Various levels of membership are available – currently there are 650 members.
The 13,000 square foot golf clubhouse was extensively remodeled in 1995. The dining room and lounge are available for use by all Rancho Santa Fe Association members, not just Golf Club members.
The course itself is a world-class eighteen hole, 7,073 yard par 72 course recently redesigned by David Fleming. Originally designed by Max Behr, it opened in June 1929 and was the original site of the Bing Crosby Pro-Am tournament! The photo below shows the club house and the adjacent Tennis Club:
Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club homes
There are only a couple of premier roads that have estates actually fronting Rancho Santa Fe Golf Course with homes on them. They would be Via De La Cumbre and principally Mimulus, seen here arrowed on the aerial photo – the odd number homes back up to the course (click for larger image).
The advantages of living on either of these two streets is not only the proximity of the course itself, but also walking distance to the Village center and both the Rancho Santa Fe Elementary & Middle Schools.
There are some homes on Paseo Delicias that back up to the golf course too, but bear in mind that is a very busy street.
Understandably homes on these streets are rarely available, if there are any luxury estates for sale, they will be featured right below:
