Fairbanks Ranch is an exclusive gated community named after Hollywood actor Douglas Fairbanks, who used to have a working ranch there.
Fairbanks is very child friendly (and there no farm animals anymore), there is a beautiful kids play area (photo below) and even a kids directory to help organize play dates and car pooling, although the local elementary school is right next door (the back entrance is inside the community).
Prices for Fairbanks Ranch homes start in the mid $1,000,000’s and can go in excess of $10,000,000! There are quite a variation of home styles, the majority having floor plans in excess of 5,000 sq ft. Most have pools, guest houses and some boast tennis courts.

Rancho Zorro (now Fairbanks Ranch) was bought by Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford in 1926, as a retreat away from Hollywood.
He named the ranch after his movie “The mark of Zorro” and planted hundred of citrus trees, acres of beans, tomatoes and grain to feed the 250 head of cattle that roamed the ranch.
